Who To Judge
Outward judgment often fails, inward judgment never.
~ Theodore Parker
Oftentimes, we spend far too much time trying to judge the motives and actions of others, when our time would be much more profitably spent focusing on our own. Don't worry about what anyone else is doing, or getting, or whether or not they are living up to your expectations...stay true to your own convictions, allow a work to be done in your own heart in those areas that need attention, and follow YOUR path, for that is where true success and happiness lies.
Do not judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves. For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you.
~Jesus / Matthew 7:1,2 (AMPC)~
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment...For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
~1 Corinthians 4:3-5 (KJV)~
