Let's Pray About It!

Loving Lord,
We thank You for our lives and give You grateful praise for Your great goodness and abundant mercy, which is new every morning. Thank You, that You are a gracious and faithful Father, even during those times when we stray far from You or when we allow the anxieties of life to steal away our peace and rob us of my joy in the Lord.

We pray that Your perfect peace would guard our heart and that You would provide us with a quiet focus and calm tranquillity within our souls. Guard our minds and guide our thoughts we pray, and prevent us from worrying about what may or may not happen, instead of keeping the eyes of our hearts focused upon Jesus and our ears ever open to His leading and guidance.

Give us strength to face all the eventualities of life in the sure knowledge, that Your grace is sufficient for all our needs. Help us to keep our eyes looking to Jesus in a calm and quiet confidence, knowing that He is the author and finisher of our faith. This we ask in His precious name, Amen.

Lord Jesus,

We thank You that You have already won the victory. Because of Your death on the Cross, Satan’s fate has been sealed. Thank You for equipping and enabling us to resist the devil’s attacks. Thank you for your Word that can expose our own sinful desires and refute the lies of the Devil. Help us to stand firm, rooted in the faith, shielded by Your armor, and dependent on Your grace. Help us to resist the devil today. Help us to pause and think before we react or say something that’s not of You. Help us to be more disciplined in Your teaching and drawn closer to You. In the name of the one who crushed the head of the serpent, Christ Jesus. We all pray and say Amen!

Heavenly Father, we call on you right now in a special way. It is through your power that we were created.

Every breath we take, every morning we wake,

and every moment of every hour, we live under your power.

Father, we ask you now to touch us with that same power. For if you created us from nothing, you could certainly recreate us.

Fill us with the healing power of your Spirit. Cast out anything that should not be in us. Mend what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open blocked arteries or veins and rebuild damaged areas, if any. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.

Let the warmth of your healing love permeate our body, making it anew. Cleanse our mind and repair our bruised soul. Let our body, mind and spirit, work in perfect union, as a Temple of God. Restore us to full health, so that we may serve you and other creations, the rest of our lives, according to your will. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We desire a prayer against distractions that try to steal our focus off of You and the plans You have over our lives. Father, please help us stay focused on the tasks we have before us. No matter what distraction rises up from the enemy, we need Your help to keep our eyes fixed on our own goals. We know that the devil can even use people and situations to try and knock them off track. We ask You together in prayer right now to help us equip ourselves spiritually and mentally so that we will be able to keep our eyes on the goal You have given us life in Jesus Name!
No matter who or what may come against us, we will refuse to be offended. This is a tactic of the enemy that we will not fall for. Help us to keep our hearts clean and free from all strife. No matter how hard the devil tries, we will not take our eyes off their goals and plans.
We decree and declare that we will not stop pursuing what You have told us to do until all has been achieved for Your glory! Amen

O Father in Heaven, look upon all your people who struggle with anger, anxiety, doubt, frustration, guilt, hopelessness, loss, memories, lack of patience, pain, regret, sadness, selfishness, temptation, and weakness.
Your Holy Word tells us “All things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.” And that means that you make all these things work for Your good purpose in our lives, even when we do not understand.
Remind us of your invitation, “Cast all your cares upon me,” and of your assurance that goes with it, “because I care for you.” …through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. ~

Dear God,
Thank you for helping us to make it through this life you have given us. Thank you that you've carried us through the uncertainty of deep waters, through the flames of trials, and through the pain of hard losses. We are constantly aware of how much we need You, Your grace, Your strength,  and Your power working through even the toughest days.
Help us to keep our focus first on You during every season of our lives. Please forgive us for giving too much time and attention to other things, for looking to other people before coming to You. Help us to reflect again, on You. Thank You that you came to give new life, peace, hope, and joy. Thank You that Your power is made perfect in our weakness.
Help us to remember that the gift of Christ, Immanuel, is our greatest treasure. Fill us with Your  joy and the peace of your Spirit. Direct our hearts and minds towards you. Thank you for your reminder that both in seasons of celebration and in seasons of brokenness, you're still with us. For you never leave us. Thank you for your daily powerful Presence in our lives, that we can be assured your heart is towards us, your eyes are over us, and your ears are open to our prayers. Thank you that you surround us with favor as with a shield, and we are safe in your care.
We choose to press in close to you today, and keep you first in our hearts and lives. Without you we would surely fail, but with you, there is great hope. Thank you for your healing power, thank you for bringing us into this new season up ahead. We look forward to all that You still have in store. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Life Lessons

Father God,
Thank you for our family and friends bond. They can be messy, they can be wonderful, they can be challenging, and they can be life-giving to be apart of. Today we surrender these precious relationships to You. We pray that You would be at work in our family and friends, moving among us and creating deeper bonds between us in a way that gives You glory, honor, and praise. We thank You for the family members and friends who have come to know and love You and praise You for the ways they encourage and uplift each other. We also pray for the family members and friends who have gone astray and have lukewarm faith. Lord, we ask that You would be moving and working in their lives, opening their eyes and their hearts to who You are and how You love them. In the places of brokenness in our family and friends, We pray You would bring healing and restoration. In the places of anger, We pray You would bring your peace. In the places of hurt, we pray You would bring comfort. Thank You for the moments of joy, the sweet celebrations, the deep love, and the connections between us. Thank You for the memories we share, and for all the ways you have shown Your deep love and endless faithfulness to us. We pray You would continue to protect, guide, strengthen, and encourage our family and friends, Jesus. We give You the glory today and ask that your plans would be done in each of us.

When to Fold & When to Hold

You are Truth, Love, and Hope. Faithful to provide for and sustain us, uphold us, and defend us, yet so often We look to other people for direction and protection. Father, forgive us for our dependence on anyone or anything more than You, alone. You are all we need, and all wisdom flows from You. Remind us, when We stray and seek the opinion of others, to seek You with all of our heart, in full confidence I will find You. To ask for wisdom, knowing You are faithful to answer, illuminate, and connect it to our lives. Reveal to us who has good intentions and those who seek to pull us away from You. Give us the clarity and good judgement to surround ourselves with others who are seeking You, and patience to allow You to work through us to others who are not. You place us perfectly, Father, this We know. Help us to follow Your guidance and synchronize our heart’s timing to Yours. Bless our lives with mentors to pour into our hearts, and mentees that we may pour into. Connect the people in our lives, and bloom relationships, the way only the blessing of Your hand can.
In Jesus’ Name,

Dear Jesus,
We love you and sometimes fall short of Your Glory. Lord, we need You. We are dealing with so many things in life and we believe in praying to You be sometimes, we are stressed, anxious, and worry. Bring peace to our heart as we cast our cares on You and simply rest in Your arms of love. Jesus breath on us and take away anything that causing stress, anxiety, and worry. Replace it with what You want us to do. Thank You for loving us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Times & Seasons

Father, I thank You that You are with us today — despite how we feel or what we are going through — because of Your mercy extended through our great High Priest, Jesus. May we persevere to the end, no matter what comes in this wilderness, as we journey to heaven, our promised land. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Lord, thank You for all you do for us. Thank you for Your provisions in our lives. You have given us so much that in some ways we are spoiled by You. We feel comforted and well cared for by You. We cannot life without You. You have blessed us beyond what we could have imagined, in spite of us not deserving all these blessings. We thank You for that.

Sometimes we take for granted the life You have blessed us with. Please help us to be more compassionate and do more for those that don't have what we have in our life. We know there are those that don't have a roof over their heads. We know that there are those seeking out jobs and live in fear of losing everything. There are those that are poor and disabled. There those that are lonely people

and desperate people that are all in need of my compassion, love, snd support. Some of those people are our very own family, friends, and neighbors. Yet sometimes we forget about them. Lord, we come before You today to ask You for a reminder that we cannot just dismiss other. You ask us to care for our fellow man, sick, shut in, widows and orphans. You tell us throughout Your Word about compassion and that there are those in such great need of our help that we should not ignore them. And yet we feel blind at times. We get so wrapped up in our own lives that those people become easy to dismiss…almost invisible.

So Lord, please open our eyes. Please let us see those around us that are in need of out compassion. Compel us to listen to them, to hear their needs. Give us the heart to be interested in their troubles and provide for us the means to help them. We want to be compassionate. We want to be like You that had so much compassion for the world that You sacrificed Your Son on a cross for us. We want to have that kind of heart for the world that we will do all we can to be a voice for the

oppressed, a giver to the poor, and encouragement for the disabled.
